Tanner Gallella Glacci's latest full-length doesn't tread far from the meticulous, hyperhappy breed of dance music he's known for; it occupies the car ride from Phonica to the arcade with the well-worn DDR machine. But there's something shimmering beneath PURE's blistering surface, a wondrous instinct for melody that pushes it skyward into crossover territory. Favorite track: Aquarius Blue Flame.

sl| I'm extremely hesitant to call an "album of the year" this early but I have no doubt that this release will be up there for me. Becoming harder and harder to find music that sounds truly fresh, and this one's got that new car smell for sure. Comes out the gate hot and stays hot. Definitely gonna keep watching Glacci closely.

I think this happens to be a good entry point for his music, so make sure to check out the other great releases prior to this (High Octane!) if you like what you hear. Favorite track: Halcyon 44.
